Aluminium round bars

EN AW-5083 (AlMg4,5Mn0,7) aluminium round bar

Magnesium-manganese alloy (AlMg4,5Mn0,7) offering excellent corrosion resistance and very good weldability. Non-heat-treatable, with medium strength and good cold formability — first choice for marine and chemical-resistant structures.

  • Excellent corrosion resistance – optimised for saline/outdoor environments.
  • Very good weldability – low cracking tendency, stable weld quality.
  • Medium strength
  • Technical anodising is possible; in decorative anodising the appearance may be limited.
Field of use
  • Food industry
  • Worktops and table tops
  • Machine and component manufacturing
  • Shipbuilding
